Family owned and operated in Scottsdale since 1993, Southwest Fireworks plans neighborhood displays that respect the venue, the audience, and the community around them.

HOA displays bring their own realities: proximity to homes, limited fallout radius, noise ordinances, and board approval cycles. We shape each show to those constraints from the beginning — not as an afterthought.

Not every venue can host every effect. During discovery we'll walk through what's feasible for your community and what approvals your event will require.

Space requirements depend on shell size. Community-scale displays can typically be produced from a community park, common area, or golf-course fairway. We'll walk the venue and advise honestly on what's feasible.
How much lead time does the board need?
For Independence Day, three to six months is comfortable — that leaves time for board approval, city permitting, and neighbor communication. Off-peak dates can move faster.
Do you help with neighbor notification?
Yes. We provide templates and guidance for notifying residents ahead of the display. Communication reduces surprise, complaints, and pet-related concerns.
Is a smaller show still worth it?
Absolutely. A short, well-designed community display can create a real neighborhood moment. We'll design around your budget, not upsell you into a stadium show.
