Quick answers
View full FAQ →Frequently asked questions
- How far in advance should we start planning?
- For major dates such as Independence Day and New Year's, plan several months ahead. Off-peak dates can often be scheduled on shorter lead times, though venue and approval requirements are the deciding factor.
- How much does a fireworks display cost?
- Cost depends on venue, show duration, effect palette, logistics, and required coordination. We provide a written proposal after discovery so pricing reflects your specific event rather than a generic range.
- Do you handle permits and approvals?
- We coordinate with the authorities having jurisdiction over your venue as part of standard project scope. The exact approvals required depend on your location and event type.
- How much space does a display need?
- Safety distance scales with the size of the aerial product used. Larger effects require more clearance downrange. We assess your site during discovery and design a show that fits its geometry.
- Can you fire from a rooftop or over water?
- It depends on the specific venue, its geometry, and the approvals available. Some venues support close-proximity or waterborne effects; others do not. We'll advise based on your site.
- Do you offer close-proximity or ground effects?
- Yes, where the venue and approvals support it. Ground and low-altitude effects can be a good fit for venues that can't support full aerial displays.
- What regions do you serve?
- Our focus is Arizona and the American Southwest. Availability outside that region depends on the specific project — please reach out.
- Can our community fire its own show?
- Possibly. See the Training & Shipped Shows page — engagement depends on jurisdictional approvals and the qualifications of the receiving crew.
